Drywall & Porch

Priming the trim for the front porch.

The hardie panels are all nailed into place. Using a nailing pattern gives the panels continuity.

B-board is installed for the porch ceiling.

The final piece of B-board is secured (notice the time change in the shadows from the first picture; it took some time to get this one right)

Special cuts are made to fit around piping and electrical boxes on the outside of the house.

Later these openings will be calked around the edges to create a tight seal.

Insulation and Siding

The windows are taped off preventing insulation from sticking to them.

Insulation is sprayed between every stud.

Holes for electrical boxes and piping are left open.

Insulation fills any gap between the rafters.
